worst experience ever, even worse than the motor blowing up on the rv

​Staggering indifference and incompetence

We called for service on a boiler/ furnace not working on 12/23. Meridian sent a tech 12/24, said he would order parts needed ($1400.00 or so) and they might be there by Friday 12/26 but he would let us know either way. Friday comes and goes, no communication from him or Meridian. We are now 6 days into no furnace. Having portable heaters from friends, our gas fireplace, etc in a polar vortex. Monday comes. Nothing from Meridian. We call and the person answering the phone says she cannot see that any parts were ordered, she will call the tech and he will call us that day. He never did. We call back around 3:30 and we were told the parts were ordered, they have a tracking number and should be here Tuesday 12/30. Tuesday comes and goes. No communication. Wednesday comes and goes no communication. We called a different company, they came out and cleaned a valve. No parts were needed and we now have heat. It is unconsionable that this company did not reach out to ask about our welfare or offer us any assistance. As of today, 1/1/2026 they STILL have not called, emailed us or texted us.
