wine tasting in beautiful napa valley

We, along with thousands of other people, visited beautiful Napa Valley today.  There are literally miles and miles of grapes on the vine and gorgeous landscaping to ooooh and ahhhh over.  First stop was Mondavi Winery.  It was spectacularly beautiful with large art instillation and fountains.  After driving up the road, we stopped again at Alpha Omega Winery  www.aowinery.com/.  Also, spectacularly beautiful.  We decided to have our wine tasting here, as we have already tasted many of the Mondavi wines at restaurants around the country.  Jhuri, the sommelier, treated us to a flight of whites with a Cab Sav for the final pour.  All were scrumptious!  We were so grateful to this winery as it not only welcomed Marla, it made her feel like a mascot despite the fact that she did not even care to taste any of the wine John offered her =)    We left with four bottles of whites to enjoy over the next few days.
