What a crazy 48 hours! We had to dry camp in Banff and John discovered one of our batteries is malfunctioning. Tomorrow we will go to the Jasper Napa store and get a new bank of batteries (oh....$500?) However, today was glorious! We walked on the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athabasca_Glacier at this place www.banffjaspercollection.com/attractions/columbia-icefield/experience/
It was so cool. Got a photo op near some of the Canadian Rocky Mountain range with the RV and saw a prong horn sheep of some sort. Also, while dry camping, we met this fellow names WES. He is a west highland terrier and his parents are Kris and Gary. Wes and Piper took a short walk around the grounds until the thunder rolled in. Marla was up all night with a tummy ache so she took a nap. Wes only wants to sniff around and decode all the messages left by other animals. He is a slow rider ha ha. I think he might have been Sherlock Holmes in a prior life. Anyhow, despite the setbacks, the good stuff is so well worth it!
