watch and learn

John made the decision to christen the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trail Hawk at the dam in Grand Lake O' the Cherokees.  When we got there, all we saw were four wheelers as far as the eye could see.  Being that our vehicle was equipped with a super trick "trail package." John decided to test it out! Before he picked his trajectory, a gool ole' boy stopped him.  He said "Wow, that's a really nice Jeep.  I haven't seen one like that.  But, you aren't going to take that out there are ya? You gotta let the air out of those tires at the least before you break it in half or scrape up the engine, bust up the fenders and get a flat tire!"  John said "Oh yeah, watch this..." and he turned to the quadritrack air suspension on the console, pushed the "touch the hand of God" height and up the Jeep went. Up and Up and Up above the tires.  The dude was flabbergasted and was like "Dude! You are like two feet off the tires! WOW!" John slowly closed the drivers window and just like that, we crossed a river.
