two words you never want to hear from cap'n john

As we make our ascent up the Rockies in the San Juan National Park Forest, elevation 10,760 feet, Cap'n John blurts out "UH OH."   Wait, what?  Reach over, click Dave Matthews off, and have full attention "Uh oh?"  And he replies "The engine just shut off."  Like, seriously? On this two lane, meandering up the mountain going 50 mph with no pull offs kind of engine just shut off situation?  He pulls over on the false shoulder and powers everything off.  Waits a few minutes while Reed has his usual apoplectic fit of biblical proportions because of the air brakes.  Reed is like speaking in tongues by 3 minutes, but after a re boot / re set of the engine, we set forth again and achieve full engine function.  Only to then start our aggressively dangerous descent back down the mountain with lurching transmission happening about every 100 feet in descent.  SCARY.
