two vastly different outdoor experiences

Yes, I hate the bugs in Florida.  John has no issue with them whatsoever which is a line neither one of us will cross as far as love for this state.  We took the pups on a quick 1/2 mile loop walk in the Inlet State Park.  John is la la la isn't this so nice? Meanwhile, a few steps in the rear of the procession, I have taken my hat off and am agressively swatting off a swarm of blood thirsty mosquitoes that are going up my nose, under my sunglasses and in my eyes, rabidly biting my legs, my arms, neck, forehead, fingers, knees, abdomen, back and in my ears.  I burned off 2500 calories just swatting and flailing.  John was unfazed by any insects.  As we approached the car, he did notice "wow, looks like you brought them to the car with you too!"  Jesus, Mary and Joseph.  I am OVER this state.
