We look out into the vast campground and lo and behold! Here come the Torrington FD retirees! Mike, Tim, Eddie and John picked up where they left off many years ago. It was so fun to hang out and eat massive quantities of meat over a fire. Cue the Home Improvement chest pumping "Argh, argh, argh!" Marla Truex Jr. was a doll!  Yes, John's right ankle is a hot mess. We are doing our best to keep him propped up! Thanks to Timmy and Debbie for all the firewood! We are certain we have enough for the Apocolypse now, thank you!  After stocking the Honda with enough wood for months, we then went to meet the most photogenic and adorable couple in Torrington, Shelby and Sweet Lou at the Edison Grill in Harwinton, CT www.edisongrill.com/ The burgers were delicious and the mac and cheese was enough to feed a small army. Marla Truex Jr. also enjoyed the left overs! Thank you Shelby and Lou!
