Torrington in the house!

We step into the Crab Pot on the wharf in Seattle to grab a late lunch / early dinner after our tour of Seattle.  During the tour, we see a banner over the Convenion Center welcoming the Union Firefighers. Interesting.  Of course,  Cap'n John has been sporting his Patriots hat loud and proud here in SeaHawk country (Shelby and Lou and the Sanfords will be proud I'm sure) and as we sit down on the patio we hear:

Dude "Hey, I like your hat!"
Cap'n John "Thanks! Are you from New England?"
Dude "Yeah!"
Cap'n John "Are you firefighters?"
Dude "Yeah!"
Cap'n John  "Me too!"
Dude "Where at?"
Cap'n John "Connecticut!" 
Dude "Alright! We are from Boston and Connecticut!"
Cap'n John "I'm from Torrington!"
Dude "NO WAY! We are from Waterbury, Bristol and Boston! Where at in Connecticut?"
Cap'n John "Torrington! 26 years!"
Dude "NO WAY! We got guys widdus from Torrington! You know Menard and Brown?"
And the rest is history............
