this drive took a year off our lives

Alaska Highway 2 to Dawson City was unpaved for about 20 miles. Not to mention the air quality from the wildfires was "severe."  The constant washboarding and frost heaves and unrelenting construction was the worst we have had in years.  Our tow vehicle was practically invisible from all the dust behind the RV for all those miles.  The pups were over this trip about an hour in.  8 hours later we arrived at our site.
