that's it. Summer is over

It's true what they say up here. There are 2 seasons.  Winter and 4th of July.  This morning we woke to temps in the 40's, sustained 30mph with gusts much worse, sideways brutally cold rain and clouds so low we could reach out and touch them.  The dogs were not happy they had to go out potty at 6am!  Take a look at how angry Lake Superior is and has been all day and still is as of this writing.  Tomorrow promises a heat wave: high in the 50's.
