Before arriving in our summer destination of Marquette, MI we stopped at beautiful Tahquemenon Falls en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tahquamenon_Falls. There are two sets of falls: upper and lower. The water running over these falls is the color of copper due to the decaying cedar and hemlock leeching tannins into the water. Marla Truex Jr. loved the trails and treed a few squirrels and trapped a few field mice! Now, we are hunkered down for the summer in Marquette, MI for the next 13 weeks! Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there!
