Our last night in the balmy Florida sun was spent in St. Augustine, Fl. We didn't have reservations at the RV park and on a whim, John "banged a right" into the Bryn Mawr Ocean resort www.brynmawroceanresort.com/and took a chance they might have a site. When I inquired at the desk, we got the lucky last spot and it was on the beach right next to the beach access! Score! It was the most beautiful site we have had so far. Marla Truex loved the beach but still is not crazy about the ocean! John did coax her into getting her paws wet but then she scampered back onto the sand and wanted to chase the sand pipers. We also were able to see (well sort of) the Atlas V satellite launched from the space center from our amazing lucky spot on the beach. The launch was delayed for nearly an hour and of course, the clouds rolled in during that time making only a partial view of the launch visible from our location on the beach in our beach chairs. We had a very lazy and relaxing day and John's plantar fasciitis and achilles tendons enjoyed the heat and silky soft sand massage. We did have a random sighting of a very familiar looking chap. Does he remind you of anyone?
