sightseeing and feasting

It was crazy windy last night and all day today, but we forged through! We started with an exhilarating walk and drive through Palo Duro Canyon State Park tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/palo-duro-canyon.  It was so beautiful!  We likened it to Zion or the Grand Canyon.  Then, we went to the art instillation known as the Cadillac Ranch.  We were surprised that the attraction actually encouraged everyone to add to the spray paint graffiti on all the Caddys! www.roadsideamerica.com/story/2220Then, we had an off the hook dinner at the legendary Big Texan Steak Ranch! www.bigtexan.com/ They actually encourage everyone to take the 72 ounce steak challenge.  Ah....no....Although, we topped off our feast  with a belated and decadent Valentine Chocolate Cake  creation.   Our travels had us going back and forth on the historic Route 66 which was also fun!
