saddest little cemetery and unexpected beautiful falls

Just outside of Martinsville Speedway is a trail that takes you to Eggleston Falls.  We were expecting to be underwhelmed but were blown away at it's awesomeness! Then, hiking into the woods a bit more we came across this sad little cemetery with all these tiny gravestones where so many young children were buried.  John Henry Burgess lived here and outlived 2 of his wives and many of his young children.  They have the saddest little gravestones out in the middle of nowhere.
