Ruh roh

Day one of our yet to be determined journey.  This time we tried a new "calming" medicine for the pups and gave them one before we left.  Marla was her usual freaked out self the whole drive to Michigan City, Indiana. Eyes bugging out, panting, drinking vats of water.  Piper couldn't find her stance. Up and down, up and down. We didn't realize how the new calming medicine was working until we stopped. Then the pup's adrenaline fire hose stopped.  Piper was staring into my soul but her eyes were not syncing with mine. She was googly eyed.  Marla was attempting to go down the stairs but her mind was writing checks her body could not cash ha ha.  She was all loopy.  Now they are snoring. Seems the calming only happens when we stop.  Dumb lol
