Oh snap!

 Tuscon, Arizona.  Cap'n John found a great trail to hike in the foothills of the Tuscon Mountain Park  www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g60950-d126852-Reviews-Tucson_Mountain_Park-Tucson_Arizona.html on the Bring Fido dog friendly places to take the pups.  It was a beautiful sunshine day and it truly was a beautiful hike to the top of the highest of the foothills on the Hidden Canyon Trail.  I have to admit, I was holding my breath many times hoping Cap'n John's achilles wouldn't snap.  Anyhow, Marla led the charge through the giant cactus that were everywhere around us.  Little old man Reed made it the entire way on his little tiny four feet!  On the way down the mountain, Reed and Marla spotted a tiny herd of deer making their way up another rise across from us.  Reed could not stop standing up on two legs trying to see them and chase after them.  We saw a wild boar and a coyote out here!  It took about an hour or so to make it all the way up and back down and no achilles were damaged in the process! Yay!
