oh dear

We pull into Stillwater tent and RV campground in Nipigon, Ontario, Canada.  Once the rig is set up, I get the ladies out of the car to go for a nice walk.  We take about ten steps before I feel my head being dive bombed by bugs "TINK!" "BINK!" "TINK!" "PING!" is the sound that is coming from the top of my head as the flies slam into my scalp! "TINK!" I am thinking maybe we just walked into a swarm or something only to realize that each step forward we are becoming enshrouded by mosquitoes and flies! It was an all out assault on the pups and I! I yell for them to "FOR GOD'S SAKE HURRY UP AND GO POTTY!" lol.  They got the memo and then we zoomed back to the camper. 

After we get all settled in, we jump in the Jeep to go check out Sleeping Giant Provincial park www.ontarioparks.ca/park/sleepinggiant/maps to get some hiking in.  We check out the first "nature trail only to see a sign and then it was so overgrown one could not find the trail.  We go to the second one, same thing! This park might have been a great tourist spot at one time, but it apparently ran out of money and is essentially gone wild.
