October 10th, 2016

October 9th: another rainy dreary day of traveling, this time an added bonus of high winds.  Fortunately, John had his sailing app to refer to navigate the gusts that buffeted the motorhome for hours  The winds were so strong, he was unable to take his hands off the wheel long enough to drink his coffee.  Marla Truex Jr. has been finding her new favorite spot to hang out on the sofa's in the cabin that allow her to look out the windows and watch the traffic.  We settled down for the night in a little town called Wales, MA just outside the antique nexus of Brimfield, MA. No cell, no internet for 24 hours.  We woke up to temps in the 40's but Marla Truex Jr. seemed to love it!
