Went around the northwest corner of Ct today. Lake Harwinton and Highland lake were gorgeous! The fall colors in this region are by far the most phenomenal we have seen so far! We stopped by and visited Mrs. Schapp at the Schapp's farm followed by re connecting with the Royals clan at Royals Garage in Torrington. John, Glen and J.R. just picked up where they left off and Mrs. Royals was resplendent in her purple outfit! www.cartalk.com/ct/torrington/132079/royals-garage After driving by the old homesteads of yore, we stopped at my favorite take out joint for lasagna! So sounds like new England is showing up the mitten. We are just starting to see some color :) but it was a gorgeous day here. Love the blog and pics. Makes my day seem a tad boring, let's see got a flu shot / a bird flu shot, I don't recommend it the side effects are terrible , I have ran into the patio door 3 times so far and I have some splaining to do regarding the neighbors windshield... Lol
