northeast corridor or the gates to hell

The sheer volume of vehicles on I-95 south along the Northeast corridor (Boston, NYC, Philly, Baltimore, DC, etc) is unfathomable.  Especially if one is in an RV in this mess.   It took us 7 hours to go 250-300 miles.  Back up after back up, construction, and disabled vehicles.  We did notice that once the RV decelerated, Reed the dog would start barking like it was his job and that after the RV got to 50 mph, he went to sleep.  Hmmm....what does that mean? He is sound asleep now (7pm) and it's going to be heart breaking to wake him up to go potty one more time.  Poor pup is exhausted.
