Melting Heat Index105°F (41°C) and broken a/c

Wednesday: John discovers the breaker for the A/C has been tripped.  He re sets it.  Nothing happens. After examining all options, he decides it's time to call the A/C guys.  It will take another 24 hours before we get a call to set up a call.  Thursday. A/C guy calls. He'll be out tomorrow.  Friday.  A/C guy comes out.  States we have a broken power thing up in the attic and that he has to order a new one.  He'll let us know when it MIGHT be in.  NEXT WEEK Wednesday maybe.  Saturday: John at Home Depot buying window A/C unit and portable floor unit.  It remains at it's coolest in here at 85 degrees.  UGH.  ​
