keweenaw peninsula at the top of the u.p.

 We took a day trip to the tip of the U.P. today. Rain, rain and more rain.  It has been raining since the beginning of May up here. That being said, we did enjoy a hike at Copper Harbor and picked up some petoskey stones and some rocks with copper embedded in them.  Marla Truex Jr. loved running free as usual!  We stopped on the way home at the General Store and got some fudge.  Someone was having a craving for chocolate again. I wonder who that was? The main roads were pretty deserted and we figured out it's because everyone drives ATV four wheelers everywhere and no one has cars.  Check out the record snowfall gauge!
