hard stop

​Bah! We hit a major snag en route to NOLA. First: I hear an alarm sounding....Video 1. John immediately pulls over on the freeway and shuts the power down. He hops out to inspect while tractor trailers and cars stay in the right lane zooming past with so much authority the RV shakes (video 2) in the wakes. He determines that at least one problem: The motor was overheating and he crawled around under there (with the trucks zooming by and spitting rocks) that the serpentine belt was missing. He tells me to take the pups in the tow vehicle and get off at the next exit. He calls for a tow ($1260.00) and we get towed to the nearest RV repair who then tells John they can't fix our RV. In the meantime he already called the nearest Freightliner and they said nothing at least until Monday. So, we are sitting in Camping World parking lot while John's brains start to settle down and we get a game plan.
