Happy valentines day! pickens are slim!

Went to St. John Tavern in Crystal River the other day.  2pm, handful of people in the patio area and inside seating area.  John orders the IPA on special, waitress takes his order then after some minutes, comes back and announces they are out of that IPA but suggests a different one.  John says "fine, I'll have that."  She goes into the restaurant.  After some minutes, says to John "Soul crushing news, we are out of that IPA too."  John ended up with a Big Nose IPA.  We order two salads with blackened chicken.  She comes back after a few minutes "You guys have been such good sports, but we ran out of chicken.  The cook wants to know if you are okay with Boars Head Deli Turkey?"  Groan. Sure.  Salads come out with shredded deli turkey.  "Ah, there are no croutons on this salad John. Should I say anything? "  We chose not to, figuring they were all out of those too. Crazy.
