Bittersweet travels today. Jammin In has a new owner, our slip at Seapath Yacht Club is gone seapathyachtclub.com/, and we left our dear friends the Lewis's! However, our time in Wilmington brought many treasured memories: Gas mask boy, Renaissance Man and Wednesday Adams trick or treating; bedazzling foam pumpkins; endless nights of s'mores and Schappfires. Our last night BBQ extravaganza at the Lewis compound was delicious and festive! John, Molly, Breda, YTL, Brendan, Patrick, Annie and Rosie were great entertainment, the clarinet solo was very melodic! Tom and Tara's cooking is "beyond!" and we miss them all already. Marla Truex Jr. had a splendid time exploring Rosie's house and yard, thanks for your patience guys! Trulie Dogs www.truliedogs.com/ gave Marla a super fancy, ready for travel hairdo and she smells like a million bucks! Thanks to Sister Sue and her teachings, we gave them a very generous tip for their hard work. One quick stop at http://sandpiperbaygolf.com/ to catch up with Carl Peetersen at his beautiful golf course! Then traveling to Myrtle Beach, SC brought yet another unforseen challenge for Captain John. We pulled into the most beautiful Myrtle Beach State Park only to discover our site required a significantly challenging back in situation for Captain John and the 40 foot RV. My crude drawing may shed some insight as follows: Of course, John some how managed to get the RV into the site without breaking any tree limbs or nudging anyone's vehicles out of the way. We are safely tucked away in this beautiful but incredibly populated State Park for the next 2 days. It must have about 1,000 campers here packed in like sardines. Marla Truex Jr. met Jeff French today and he joined us for dinner. He and his Harley made quite a statement and we had good food and conversation around yet another Schappfire! Thank you Tim and Debbie! The weather is beautiful and a John and a great horned owl carried on a nice conversation in between Frenchy's incredibly hilarious stories of yore.
