Cap'n John has met another no brain frickin frackin reindeer idiot driver on the road today! We were on a four lane highway in northern Utah, 2 lanes each way with median in between.  We were in the right lane heading toward a long steep graded hill.  As we approached, we could see the semi truck also in the right lane up in the distance going slower and slower up the hill.  John checked behind us and not a soul in sight.  He moves to the left lane about a half mile away from it.  As we get closer to it, the semi is going slower and slower.  Just before it stops completely, we are about to pass it on it's left when out of nowhere, this white pick up truck with 4 bicycles on the back doing close to 100 mph decided to take a chance and go between us.  UNREAL!  John saw him coming and screamed "DON'T DO IT! YOU IDIOT! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT!"  With four bikes on the back, we figured he / she put his / her whole family in danger of losing their lives for a hair brained maneuver like that  We still cannot believe the chance that driver took!

My father got the idea of going to canyons from a guy on his him club ( my father now shoots on 4 different teams!). His friend has an T.V. and that a how they've been all over the US. I was telling my dad about some/many of your near misses. He told me stories that were pretty darn similar to yours! My heart was racing!
