Last night in daytona

Daytona Beach has been inspiring for Capt'n John and his love of racing. We toured the race track and it was a really worthwhile and insightful tour! We highly recommend it! The track is massive and many of us are probably not aware that there are many more race tracks within this NASCAR track for like Grand Prix cars, motor cross bikes, and go carts.  We were able to go to the drivers meeting room and in the upper levels where the owners mingle.  The track and all the engineering that goes into it is overwhelming.  The planning for the crowds with the stairs, the escalators and the elevators; the parking!; the bathrooms!; and the solar power and just on and on.  It was an eye opening experience!   All the rules about pitting and laser measuring and car appropriateness is beyond crazy! Every campground in Florida is averse to recycling. Why? What do they have against lowering the carbon footprint?  It was like playing legends of the hidden temple to find a recycling drop off so many times in this state.  Sad.

Scott Bouley dropped in for a very lively and heart warming visit.   Shout out to Kim for facilitating! He and John regaled about racing and camping and water outages and what nots.  Sorry the phone didn't follow you Scott! Hello to Pumpkin!
