close encounter!

Today it was a brilliant, sunshine day! Great day for a hike in Harwinton.  Marla was loving getting drinks out of the stream.  But suddenly we saw a massive black animal 50 feet in front of us! It was a 500-600 pound black bear right in front of us! We yiped! The bear was startled too and lumbered into the stream and climbing up the 6-8 foot embankment on the other side.  Marla was braced for battle and was heading it's way! John had to call her back to us to keep her from getting in a fight! Chelle texted "Get the Eff Out!" lol.
