Frankfort, Kentucky is the home of the oldest continually running bourbon distillery in the US, Buffalo Trace www.buffalotracedistillery.com/ It has over a million barrels of whisky / bourbon aging in the warehouses at any time, including Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. We took a one hour tour and ended with a bourbon tasting, all for free. The grounds are very dog friendly and Marla learned a lot about the process!
