beautiful lake powell-t minus 6 years and counting

We took a side bar on our way east and decided to go north of the north rim of the Grand Canyon and stumbled upon Glen Canyon and beautiful Lake Powell.  As we drove closer to the lake, it was so obvious how far the water level had dropped over time.  After looking up why, we were astonished to learn that this massive body of beautiful turquoise blue water had dropped 100 feet since the year 2000.  It is also speculated that, if the current conditions continue, this beautiful body of water will be gone forever.
