Back on the road! RV is taking a beating in the mitten! Parting is such sweet sorrow :-(

Well, we are off! It's been a super busy summer and we loved being with the family! Despite the campground being amazing for kids, we will not miss the incoming acorns dropping on our RV from 100 foot oak trees and the constant noise from leaf blowers, power washers, saws, lawn mowers constantly.  It is unlikely we will every see so many golf carts in one campground anywhere either.  It was so fun to go to Potter Park Zoo,  Detroit Zoo, Detroit Tiger game, Harlow's gymnastics, Landon and Jakes soccer and baseball! The movies! Having the early bird special at Chelle and Paul's and after renovation drinks at Cass and Guy's house! The Halloween in August and Easter Egg hunt in September at the campgrounds were so amazing.  Seeing Theresa, John, Deneen and Joe after a long absence post Covid was so much needed and appreciated!

Still, the Michigan roads on the way out...oh buddy..it was like driving on ski moguls all the way to Ohio.  The rough roads and pot holes beat the RV up pretty bad.  Take a look at my Yankee engineering to keep the doors from flying off and all the contents flying out:
