spectacular falls! 80 year old fish and lewis & clark

We continue to struggle with seeing any mountains due to the haze and smoke from forest fires, but we have been enjoying all the things to see on the Lewis and Clark Oregon Trail region.  We toured the fish hatchery where 'Herman the Sturgeon" lives. He's 80 years old, 10 feet long and weighs over 400 pounds.  The fish hatchery is at the Columbia River Dam complex and the grounds rival any Queen's botanical garden we have ever seen.  The Multnomah Falls were equally impressive with the largest fall of any waterfall in Oregon.
