95 degrees, full sun, no shade.  Miles and miles of hot gravel / red dirt trails in Moab.  We had over 170 ft elevation change each way at the 1 mile in, 1 mile out Park Avenue trail hike and saw a man strolling on the trail with ski poles and portable oxygen going full bore.  At the Windows trail where there are over a dozen natural arches, we saw a young woman bent 90 degrees capturing the stairs on her go pro.  At the Delicate Arch trail (3 miles) a woman BAREFOOT was walking out of the trail to the trail head.  Barefoot.  The gravel and sand had to be at least 100 degrees.  Then there was the tall skinny man with a washcloth on his head! He said "We don't need sun hats in Seattle!"
