2 nights of wind and cold!

Thanks to spotty or faulty internet at the campground, we have been unable to post until this morning. Friday we had a wonderful visit with the Hannon brothers Bobby and Dennis.  It was great to see them and we had some lively conversation around the campfire that was stoked with wood from the seemingly unlimited Schapp woodpile.  The weather has taken a turn and our Indian Summer in New England has come to a windy and chilly halt.  Saturday morning we were visited by Craig Cameron and his wife who are now very successful farmers! Thank you for the eggs from your chickens!  We are looking forward to making some delicious dishes with them!

Yesterday,  Eric and Nev visited us in the afternoon and after playing I SPY for like 3 hours with Nev (she whipped my butt), Sarah, Ava and Miss Esme the dog came to the campground to join us.  John took Ava on a stroll down memory lane via the photos on his phone of her way back when.  Both girls are growing up so fast and are so beautiful and sweet.  We had a lovely time catching up with them all until Marla Truex Jr. decided it was time for Esme to leave her house!
